Located on a last piece of land along the perimeter of a vast green space of an 18-hole golf course, the conceptual design of TT house is to take full advantge of the magnificent view of the green field as well as natural wind that comes from the north and south sides of the site without any kind of blockage.
The organisation of internal spaces of the house stems from the actual orientation of the wind flows between north and south directions. By segregating each programme from one another and leaving 'small canyons' in-between, natural flows, including wind, light and greenery, can penetrate through the depth of the house freely and thoroughly.
In order to enhance aerodynamics throughout the entire building, both vertical and horizontal solid geometries of the house are slimmed down as much as possible, resembling a shape of airplane's wings. As a result, the house becomes an assembly of interconnected internal and external spaces in the midst of the flows, blending nature and culture of living together.
