Central Department Store Extension at Megabangna is now complete and open to the public after one year of construction work. A 3-storey extension structure is attached to the existing building seamlessly, accentuating a more prominent presence of the store on the west side of the whole complex. 

This year 'FOS annual trip 2023', Hong Kong is our destination. The journey starts from the giant Herzog & De Meuron's M+ Museum, Taikwun Contemporary, the newly opened K11 Musea at Victoria Dockside as well as a spectacular media art exhibition 'ARTE M' at K11-HACC among other museums to local Dim Sum and certainly roasted goose shops on the way.

The exterior work of CENTRAL Department Store Extension at Megabangna is now complete. The grand opening is due at the beginning of year 2024.

Finally, Erawan Bangkok Renovation, both exterior and interior design by FOS, is complete and open for public. Shops by tenants will be ready for Grand Opening very soon.

HALLMARK LADPRAO-CHOKCHAI 4 PHASE 2 : CLUBHOUSE INTERIOR. The resent completed work for Chewathai PCL. To suit the urban lifestyle of young professionals and first jobbers who are the majority of the residents in the project, interior design concept of the project reflects their activities and interests into the living spaces. The choice of colour schemes is intentionally chosen to be bright in order to make the spaces feel more spacious and invigorating.

HALLMARK LADPRAO-CHOKCHAI 4 CONDO-Phase 1 & 2 is now complete. The project consists of two 8-storey condominiums and a clubhouse with a swimming pool. The concept of the facade design is inspired by a field of papyrus, swaying in the wind, that used to be growing on site.

FOS exhibition team has finished an installation of our "Erawan Bangkok Crystal Model" and a presentation panel for ARCHITECT EXPO 2023 at Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani. It runs from Tuesday 25-30 April. The concept, design process, execution and model with lighting effect are all on show.

To cope with a future growth in the coming years, FOS now moves into a new home which is in the same area as the old premises. Sitting here in our new office and looking out through the windows to see surrounding greenery in the middle of Ari district, we feel truly fortunate, grateful and energized to be working in this rare place. In fact, this old house and its green oasis has been here for more than 50 years. And, in our view, it is still very pretty until these days. So we intend to keep it that way.

Through a selection of shortlisted architectural firms, FOS has been chosen to be responsible for the renovation design, both exterior and interior, of Erawan Bangkok Shopping Mall. Originally designed by Asst. Prof. Rangsan Torsuwan, the existing building of Erawan Bangkok Shopping Mall together with Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel have been one of the most iconic buildings in Thailand since 1991. With the rising challenge of competition between digital and physical retail, FOS is tasked to reinterpret and reimagine this long-running bricks-and-mortar shopping mall to become the forefront of this typology once again in today's global society.

FOS's new competition entry, Haikou Canteen in China, is inspired by "Pebbles in the Flow". It is our continued exploration of a philosophy of Flows in Nature vs Culture, in which we explore the idea of how architecture is created by invisible natural as well as cultural flows that converge on a specific site and become a space for required programmes.

FOS wins a Pedestrian Bridge Design Competition in Hainan, China. The bridge is located in the Haikou residential master plan, converging 2 clusters of 3-storey villas and a canal road bridge together. As a result, the bridge becomes a social place for meeting, exercising and enjoying outdoor environment.

Megabangna's New Drop-off Canopy at the existing zone of Mega Foodwalk is now complete. The wedge shape of the roof and space attracts people into the newly renovated inner zone of the open-air courtyard where new landscape design enriches the atmosphere of this zone.  

Megabangna New Drop-off Canopies, so-called the Mushrooms, are now complete and open to the public. Together with the newly-built link bridge and the fully glazed new lobby all designed by FOS, they coherently form a more welcoming gateway to the existing building of the shopping centre and IKEA store.

Hallmark Ladprao-Chokchai4 Condo project is currently in the stage of final touch and it will be ready for moving-in very soon. The project consists of 2 low-rise condos with a clubhouse and a swimming pool in the courtyard space.

CHEWATHAI KASET-NAWAMIN HIGH-RISE CONDO is now completed and open for its residents to move in. The project comprises 649 residences, including studio, 1-bed and 2-bed units, and 5 retail shops on Ground level and a variety of facilities on the podium and the tower rooftop.

Mega Foodwalk has officially been awarded "ASIA PACIFIC PROPERTY AWARDS ,BEST RETAIL ARCHITECTURE 2020-2021". The extensive panel of independent judges of the awards lend their expertise and experience to assessing thousands of entries each year. The award winners are the best projects in thier categories. FOS would like to thank the client Mega Bangna for their vision and greatest support and also all the design consultants and other parties involved in the project. 

Makakrai Jay Suthadarat, Founding Principal, has been invited to take part in the jury panel for Y4 final presentation of the "Natural History Museum" project at Faculty of Architecture, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. Today is the Grand opening ceremony of SB Design Square Extension @ CDC, Bangkok, the latest completed project by FOS. Inspired by wood joints of furniture, the project acts as a joining piece, connecting three existing buildings together as a complete entity.

Makakrai Jay Suthadarat is invited to be a guest speaker, alongside Yarinda Bunnag of IO, in Architectural Thesis Exhibition 2019 by Montfort Del Rosario School of Architecture and Design, Assumption University at Eden Zone, 3rd floor, Central World on 28 August 2019, 5pm onwards.

Thesis exhibition by Faculty of Architecture, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang was held at Central World Bangkok during 11-13 June 2019. Makakrai Suthadarat joined talk with graduates about real lives of practicing architects.

Makakrai Jay Suthadarat, Founding Principal, is invited to be one of the judges to decide the best thesis in architecture in Thailand or 'TOYarch' in 2018. It is organised by Council of Deans of Architecture Schools of Thailand (CDAST).

Mega FoodWalk, designed by FOS, has received 'Highly Commended' award in category : Completed Building-Shopping from World Architecture Festival 2018. After our presentation and a fruitful Q&A session, at the end of the day the panel of international judges have made the final decision on the awards from 8 finalists. The 1:50 scale model of Furniture Showroom project is exhibited in  'ARCHITECT '18 EXPO: Beyond Ordinary' in Thailand. The concept derives from furniture wood joints, in which the project acts as a joining piece, connecting three existing buildings together as a complete entity.  

Mega Bangna Extension has reached 90% progress. The project is a hybrid between public park and retail space, full of restaurants all around a covered central amphitheatre. It is about to open in December.

Car parking building of Mega Bangna Extension has reached 90% progress. Its entire facade is covered by expanded aluminium panels to conceal banality of concrete slabs behind. The intermittent folded bands add dimentions to the overall 1,200-car parking structure.   

Jay Suthadarat [Principal-right] and Rinchai Chaivaraporn [Project Architect-left] conduct a construction site inspection of MEGA BANGNA EXTENSION, in which it has reached 30% progress. The project consists of 40 new retail shops and 1,200 car parking spaces. Particularly the retail spaces will circle on the sloping plane around a public plaza and lush garden with an amphitheatre at the heart of its layout. The 1:15 sloping corridor on the first level to the second starts to take shape. The completion is due before Christmas, 2017. The 1:200 scale model of CANVAS RESORT project is on show in 'Baan Baan Mockup', one of the main exhibitions in  'ARCHITECT '17 EXPO: Reconsidering Dwelling' in Thailand. The whole model, which is made of balsa wood, highlights the massing arrangement in the site in order to create relationship between masses and interval spaces with central internal lagoon as a communal space of the project. Makakrai Jay Suthadarat (front row, right) has been invited to be a committee of 'ARCHITECT '17 EXPO: Reconsidering Dwelling', the biggest annual architectural expo in Southeast Asia. He is also a curator of an exhibition, entitled 'Dwelling Elements', in which a set of 23 pieces of life-size elements designed by guest designers are on show. The event runs during 2-7 May 2017 in Thailand.

ASANA Serviced Apartment front facade is near completion. Located in the most bustling area of Pattaya city, FOS take on a challange by turning a strip of run down shophouses into a place of tranquility and relaxation. It is due to be completed in early 2017.  

'Knitting Urban Fabric Into A Tangible Form' : Central Bangna Facade Concept is featured in '100 Selected Projects' exhibition as part of ARCHITECT EXPO 2016, at Muang Thong Thani, Thailand. The projects are selected by the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA). 

Condolette Pixel Sathorn is complete. The project consists of two low-rise condominiums and a car parking building, surrounding the green courtyard and swimming pool in the middle. Its residents have started to move into their new home since the end of last year.

Central Plaza Bangna Facade is now complete. The concept of 'knitting fragments of the city into a single piece of urban fabric' is developed in an attempt of materializing the invisible aspect of urban change into a tangible entity. The process of knitting is studied and then synthesized into architectural form.

Central Plaza Bangna Facade construction starts to take shape. The process of individual pieces of aluminium composite panels being installed along a series of curvaceous steel pipes is a deliberate resemblance of fabrication process in knitting fabric. Completion is due in early 2016.

'Divergence House' is featured in 'Projects by Alumni' exhibition as part of  Silpa Bhirasri Day 2015, between September 15 - October 9, at Faculty of Architecture, Silpakorn University, Thailand.

The projects are selected to represent the best projects in Thailand in the current years. 

'Srithai Super Outlet' is now ready for shoppers. The first factory outlet of Srithai ,the biggest plastic products manufacturer in Thailand, has been completed. It has been transformed from an old depot into a 4,000 sqm store, offering all plastic & melamine kitchenware, furniture and other products under one roof. 'Srithai Super Outlet', the first factory outlet of the biggest plastic products manufacturer in Thailand, is only 10% away from completion. An old depot on Sukhumvit highway road, Chonburi has been transformed to become a 4,000 sqm store. All aspects of the project, both exterior and interior, are designed by FOS.

Before the end of 2014, Leosor Hotel construction has made a major progress with its undulating timber louvres nearly completed. The project is due to be open in Q1 of 2015.
