Envisioned as a medium-sized business hotel in the heart of Nakonratsima, Thailand, Leosor Hotel is aimed to be a new beacon of the hospitality market in the city. Inspired by a unique method of local silk fabrication, the sun-shading skin on the facade of the building is treated as a warped fabric, being pierced rhythmically by an array of columns throughout the entire length. The result is the permeability between the rigid body of the conventional structure and the soft body of the skin.
