HALLMARK LADPRAO-CHOKCHAI4 CONDOMINIUM

A low-rise condominium project developed by Chewathai PLC consists of two eight-storey buildings, surrounding a courtyard space with a two-storey clubhouse and a swimming pool.

The proposed design draws an inspiration from its setting. Papyrus trees, rhythmically blown by gentle wind, give an effect of constantly spinning vertical elements, switching back and forth between foreground and background layers. Swaying lines of the veiling facade, reminiscent of the existing oscillating papyrus grove, are made of simple white tubes sliced and then wrapped around navy-blue boxes of the residential program.
